COVID-19: what cleaning products will work?

Here at Aussie Clean, we want to pass some of our cleaning knowledge onto not only our Perth residents but anywhere who needs it!
So, what products will work?

-Soap & water : DEFINITELY! soap can interfere with the fats in the cells of covid-19 and makes the virus easier to take off a surface with the water.

-Bleach : YES! Make sure you leave the bleach on the surface you’re cleaning to work its magic for between 10-15 minutes before you wipe it away with a clean cloth. It is important to follow directions on the bleach bottles.

-Rubbing alcohol/ surgical spirits: ANOTHER YES!! rubbing alcohol is used in our hand sanitisers and we can use it to clean surfaces. it works great because it can kill the virus in as little as 30 seconds but it also evaporates quite fast so there is no need to wipe it up. one thing to remember is- when in a sanitiser it needs to be at least 70% alcohol to kill Covid-19.
